FALL BANQUET

We are so pleased with the turn out at the 8th Annual Barefoot Republic Fall Banquet last month. We were grateful to spend the evening with so many Barefoot friends. We also met a lot of new folks who are excited about our vision and eager to get involved with the ministry.

God continues to bless our ministry in so many unexpected ways. Here are just a few examples from this year's banquet:

• New organizations are interested in sending kids to Barefoot Republic Camp!
• New grouped inquired into potential service projects to help prepare the facility for our 2009 camping season, the first in Kentucky!
• New organizations are interested in renting our facility to assist with our operations and scholarship fund!
• New people...camp counselors, volunteers and potential board members!
  Praise God!

This is truly a season of excitement for Barefoot Republic Camp. Our purpose remains to reflect God's pursuit of His children through interests and interpersonal relationships, and to equip students with tools for exploring and discovering God's presence in their lives. As we continue our capital campaign, we do invite you and your family to visit the facilities and cover our vision in prayers as we work towards our first summer of programming on our property in 2009.
