We need you! Barefoot Republic Camp is looking for Christ-followers to serve at our 2010 summer camp. Our volunteers function as counselors, instructors, support staff, and work crew members. As a volunteer, you are critical in helping our campers experience diversity and community through sports, fine arts and a variety of other camp activities. As role models and mentors for campers, volunteers are expected to conduct themselves in a mature and ethical manner in order to guide campers with love and firmness.
Volunteer Roles
Counselor: Using your passion for encouragement, a spirit of fun, and an attitude of flexibility you spend the week supervising, mentoring and hanging out with a group of 12 campers.
Instructor: Using your unique gifts and skills you teach campers to explore new interests, develop talents and reach new levels of proficiency in sports, fine arts or music. List of electives:

Support Staff: Primarily, your role is to serve as kitchen staff and help behind the scenes in various ways. Support Staff will be assigned to a Republic of up to 12 campers and help Republic Leader and Counselor and assist with free-time activities and specialty classes as needed.
Work Crew: A crucial volunteer role, work crew responsibilities include camp property maintenance, restock facilities, set up and tear down for all games and activities, as well as assist in free-time activities and specialty classes as needed.
Other needs: Camp nurse, athletic trainer, head chef, child care providers, audio/visual person, worship band

All volunteers must attend a mandatory training session prior to camp.
