Overnight Camp in Kentucky

COVID PREVENTION

AT BAREFOOT, WE WANT YOU TO REST EASY KNOWING THAT YOUR CHILD WILL RECEIVE THE BEST CARE POSSIBLE AT CAMP THIS YEAR.

2021 SAFE CAMP MEASURES

Our highest priority is facilitating clean, healthy and safe camps for our children, youth and staff. Nothing is more important

to us than caring for our camper community well. All camp sessions will be conducted based on civic and health official guidelines. Safe Camp Measures are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.

In light of the changes made by our local, state (both TN and KY), and Federal governments regarding COVID-19 protocols, BRC is also changing our policies. As of Monday June 21st, BRC will no longer conduct temperature checks or require masks be worn by staff or guests inside or outside. However, staff or guests are welcome to wear masks if they so choose, but we will no longer mandate it. Anyone serving food to our guests will still be required to wear gloves and masks accordingly.  Likewise, we will continue to follow our regular “sick” camper policies if a camper gets sick with a fever at camp. Our leadership team will continue to monitor COVID-19 protocols in our area and make any necessary adjustments as needed.

For further reference, please note the list of questions we will ask all campers as they check-in for camp or prior to them boarding one of our buses going to camp.

  1. Do you have any reason to believe you or anyone in your household has been exposed to or acquired COVID-19 within the last 14 days?

  2. Have you or anyone in your household cared for an individual who is in quarantine or is a presumptive positive or has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days?

  3. To the best of your knowledge have you been in close proximity to any individual who tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days?

These measures will be routinely updated throughout

2021 as government guidelines may require, so

please check this page for further reference!
