OUR MISSION

Our mission at Barefoot Republic Community Center is to facilitate Christ-centered relationships between individuals from diverse racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds through the avenues of community, fitness, and health.

OUR VALUES

CHRISTLIKE

We are Kingdom-minded servants resembling the spirit of Jesus Christ in our thoughts, words, and actions.

JOYFUL

We create environments to be a kid and experience joy in everything we do.

UNITING

We are intentional in responding to Jesus' prayer that we may be one body of believers.

DIVERSE

We pursue uncommon fellowship because our differences make us better.

COMPASSIONATE

We consider what others may be going through and love them unconditionally

EVANGELISTIC

We trust the seeds of the Gospel planted can change our communities and ultimately the world

HOSPITABLE

We are welcoming to all guests, presenting warmth and generosity toward everyone we serve.

Why do we offer scholarships?

At Barefoot, we believe that someone should not miss out just because their family can't afford to pay. We scholarship 50% of our campers because we believe it is the right thing to do. We believe camp is THAT IMPORTANT. We believe Barefoot is important!
Barefoot believes that socio-economic diversity is just as important as racial diversity. We value each person we interact with & believe people of all levels of income need to have the opportunity to meet families who are different than them.
If you are in need of financial assistance to be a part of the Community Center, please reach out to us at: membership@barefootrepublic.org.
